<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device becoming an electroluminescent element that emits light with high luminance. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises, as a charge injection layer and/or a charge transport layer, a layer including a polymer compound having one kind or more of structural units selected from a group consisting of a structural unit represented by formula (1) and a specific structural unit having a substituent group similar to the formula (1). (In the formula (1), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents a predetermined monovalent organic group, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>represents a predetermined monovalent organic group, m2 represents an integer of 1-3. When there are a plurality of R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, they may be identical or different from each other.
