PURPOSE: Modified asphalt for asphalt emulsion, water-permeable modified asphalt emulsion, and a repair method of an asphalt pavement are provided to improve the durability, weather-resistance, and cohesion with aggregate of an asphalt pavement. CONSTITUTION: Modified asphalt for asphalt emulsion comprises 3-25 weight% of modifier, 2-20 weight% of low molecular weight polymer, 1-5 weight% of polymeric acid based on asphalt with a softening point of 40-60 degrees. The modifier comprises one or more of C9 hydrocarbon resin, rosin, and rosin ester. |
