High definition camera system based in Media Independent Handover

PURPOSE: An MIH(Media Independent Handover) based high definition camera system is provided to select a wireless network based on a predetermined standard in a heterogeneous wireless network environment. CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit(300) takes a picture in SD(standard definition) or HD(high definition). A detecting unit(100) detects a heterogeneous wireless network. The detecting unit evaluates the performance of the detected heterogeneous wireless network. A handover unit(200) performs handover of detected heterogeneous wireless network according to a predetermined standard. An encoding unit(400) encodes a video photographed through the photographing unit. A transmitting unit(500) transmits the video encoded through the encoding unit.
