<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a seal for a fuel cell in which increase in size of a fuel cell stack due to burrs formed at an air bent part of a die formed in the molding process of a gasket is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: This is consisting of a process of integrally molding a gasket composed of rubbery elastic material on the surface of a film-, sheet- or plate-formed base frame 110 by using the die having the air bent part 42 positioned at a confluence part of rubber material for molding in a cavity for molding, and an excision process of cutting and removing the burrs formed by flowing-in of the rubber material for molding into the air bent part 42 together with a portion of the base frame 110 in this molding process.
