摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a remote monitoring and control channel without decreasing the number of user data channels in a system for remotely monitoring and controlling user's equipment from a station device over the Ethernet. <P>SOLUTION: Both a maintenance management (OAM) channel and a user data channel are used together. Namely, user terminals 130, 131 connected to a user's equipment 110 are connected with a station device 100 in a point-to-point manner. Route management over the Ethernet is managed by means of a VLAN. As illustrated, the user terminal 130 is accommodated in the station device 100 by means of a VLAN 120 via the user's equipment 110, and the user terminal 131 is accommodated in the station device 100 by means of a VLAN 121 via the user's equipment 110. An Ethernet OAM frame can be transmitted/received using the user data channel.
