PURPOSE: Low-carbon copper particles are provided to ensure small particle sizes, uniform distribution of particle sizes, and high heat-shrinkage resistance. CONSTITUTION: Low-carbon copper particles comprise carbon less than 0.01 weight% and phosphorous less than 0.01 weight%. The low-carbon copper particles have a CV(Coefficient of Variation) of 10-35 weight% and an approximately spherical shape including a non-curved portion. The low-carbon copper particles are produced by reduction in a condition containing 2.1-8mol/L of materials that do not contribute to reduction.
