The device has a fixing unit for fixing a drilling apparatus (5) and comprising two hinges (6, 7) whose rotation axles are mutually perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to a direction of movement of the drilling apparatus. A conveying unit e.g. mobile plate (9), conveys a drilling point of a plaster solid part e.g. jaw model type implant, at a base of the drilling apparatus. A measuring unit (11) measures displacement of the drilling apparatus and/or the solid part with respect to a reference point. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabrication of a surgical drill guide.
