PURPOSE: A device for managing a controller in a starting air distributing system for a large engine is provided to effectively operate the large engine as an existing controller is used as a main controller and a peer controller. CONSTITUTION: A device for managing a controller in a starting air distributing system for a large engine comprises a control module(101) for a controller, a module(103) for receiving a main controller pulse signal, a module for receiving a peer controller pulse signal, a module(105) for inspecting the operation of the main controller, and a module(106) for inspecting the operation of a peer controller. The module for inspecting the operation of the peer controller is controlled by the control module. The module for inspecting the operation of the peer controller deciphers the pattern of receiving a signal, and compares the pattern with a state judging standard. Whether or not the pattern indicates the failure of the operation of the peer controller is determined, and the result is delivered to the main controller.
