PURPOSE: A data writing method and a storage device using the method are provided to simplify address mapping information by performing a writing operation for arranging data in a storage medium as a cluster unit. CONSTITUTION: A storage medium interface(140) accesses a storage medium(150) to write or read data. A memory device(130) stores address mapping information. A processor(110) controls the storage medium interface to write data in the storage medium or read the data from the storage medium. The processor performs a writing operation by changing data to be written and an area designated by a writing command in order to write the data in the storage medium as a cluster unit based on the address mapping information. |
