PURPOSE: An information protecting method and an apparatus thereof are provided to supply data which satisfies a K-anonymity condition by minimizing the loss of information. CONSTITUTION: A combination F having subsets of T is generated. Elements within F are arranged in ascending order. An element S having the shortest generalization length is removed from F. Tuples included in combination D is removed. If S is not an empty set, S is added to D and S is added within partition as a table. |
