PURPOSE: A liquid crystal lens is provided to simplify design of a peripheral circuit. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal lens comprises a first electrode layer(312), a second electrode layer(322), and a liquid crystal layer(330). The first electrode layer is arranged on a first light transmitting plate. The second electrode layer is arranged on a second light transmitting plate. The liquid crystal layer is inserted into the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. A plurality of concentric electrodes is connected by a plurality of strips.
