PURPOSE: A method for producing a magnesium alloy oxide film with high corrosion resistance is provided to reduce harmful materials produced in an anodizing process by reducing the degradation of corrosion resistance due to coarse pores and cracks in a plasma electrolytic oxidizing process. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a magnesium alloy oxide film with high corrosion resistance comprises the steps of: manufacturing a magnesium alloy specimen(S1), preparing alkaline electrolyte(S2), and dipping the magnesium alloy specimen in the alkaline electrolyte and applying current to form an oxide film through plasma discharge on the surface of the specimen, wherein an electrical parameter selected from the group consisting of current density, current frequency, and current waveform is controlled(S3).
