摘要 PURPOSE: A propeller for a ship with improved cavitation resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize frictional resistance against fluid and to improve the operational efficiency of a propeller. CONSTITUTION: A propeller for a ship with improved cavitation resistance comprises a blade part(200), an aluminum foil(300), and a ceramic coating layer. The propeller is installed in the tail end of a ship to generate propulsion force. The aluminum foil is attached to a section(210) of the blade part where cavitation is generated. A diamond coating layer is formed on the aluminum foil to minimize erosion due to the cavitation. The ceramic coating layer is formed between the diamond coating layer and the aluminum foil to facilitate the attachment of the diamond coating layer. [Reference numerals] (AA) Rotational direction
