PURPOSE: A nipple manufacturing method is provided to manufacture a nipple with a plurality of flanges by using split forging molds for forming the flanges. CONSTITUTION: A nipple manufacturing method comprises the steps of: cutting a rod material to a predetermined length(S1), press one and the other sides of the rod material to extend the cross section between the two sides and pressing the other side of the rod material to form a groove(10)(S2), pressing one end of the outer periphery of the rod material to form a groove(20) and pressing the other end of the rod material to extend the groove on the other end of the rod material and form a protrusion(30) between the two ends(S3), setting and pressing split forging molds at the other end of the rod material to form a flange(40) at a connection part of the other end(S4), and pressing the grooves the two ends to complete a through hole(S5). |
