PURPOSE: An engine cooling system is provided to guarantee the stability of combustion in various operation conditions by preventing the decrease of engine output and efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An engine cooling system(100) comprises first and second coolant circulation lines(30,70), first and second water pumps(35,75), first and second radiators(40,80). The first coolant circulation line is connected to a block water jacket(20) which cools a cylinder block(10). The second coolant circulation line is connected to a head water jacket which cools a cylinder head. The first and second water pumps are installed in the first and second coolant circulation lines, respectively. The first and second water pumps supply coolant to the block water jacket and head water jacket, respectively. The first and second radiators are installed in the first and second coolant circulation lines, respectively, and cool the coolant by delivering the heat of each coolant circulating through the cylinder head to external air. |
