PURPOSE: A fin for directional stability and a ship with the same are provided to improve the directional stability and the propulsion efficiency of the ship by operating a fin part according to the sailing conditions of the ship. CONSTITUTION: A fin for directional stability(100) is installed in a hull(1) to guarantee the directional stability of the hull and comprises a pin part and a rotating part. The pin part is installed in the side surface of the hull to rotate on a rotary shaft. The rotating part rotates the pin part on the rotary shaft. One end of the rotary shaft is coupled to the middle of the pin part and the other end thereof is rotatably supported in the hull.
