LASER WELDING METHOD AND LASER WELDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method and a laser welding device that can not only inhibit a concave on a welded part but also gain good welding quality in laser welding using laser without dropping welding efficiency.

SOLUTION: An oscillation medium comprises multiple fiber-like or disk-like crystalline bodies disposed in series. The laser beam is condensed to a surface of a steel plate so that a beam spot is or two circular beam spots arranged in series in the welding line direction are formed. Welding is performed by the beam spot moving along the welding line so that the total length in the welding line direction of the beam spot on the surface of the steel plate has a relationship to become longer than the width of the beam spot in the direction orthogonal to the welding line.
