A piezoelectric blood-pressure sensor consists of a housing, leads, conductive electrodes and piezoelectric macromolecular material filling between the electrodes. The sensor senses pulsation of an artery on the body surface of a human using the piezoelectric macromolecular material, and converts the pulsation into a corresponding electrical signal which is output by the leads. When the output electrical signal of the sensor is processed, analyzed and calculated by a corresponding processing circuit, a blood-pressure value can be obtained. When the sensor is used for blood-pressure monitoring, it is not necessary to pressurize an air pump, and long-term and continuously monitoring of blood-pressure can be realized.
