<p>By means of: a silk fibroin porous material containing silk fibroin and an amino acid; and a method for producing silk fibroin characterized by freezing and then thawing a fibroin solution wherein an amino acid has been added to an aqueous solution of fibroin, thus obtaining a porous material; disclosed are a porous body that does not contain a solvent and is highly safe, and a method for producing same.</p>
