PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the life deterioration and the output deterioration of a battery.

SOLUTION: A position control device of a battery includes: a battery where an electrolytic solution and an electrode body are housed in a case; a driving part rotating the case; and a control part controlling the driving of the driving part. A clearance is formed between a liquid surface of the electrolytic solution and an inner surface of the case that faces the liquid surface. The control part controls the driving part and thereby rotating the case between a first position and a second position where a contact area of the electrolytic solution and the electrode body is smaller than that in the first position.
