<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic vehicle detector which has good detection sensitivity and an excellent maintenance property, even if assembled in a car stopping pole raised in a parking space, while having a simple and inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle detector comprises a detection coil including a primary side coil 1A for generating a magnetic flux, and a secondary side coil 2A disposed at a predetermined interval from the primary side coil 1A; and a detection circuit for detecting changes of the magnetic flux transmitted from the primary side coil 1A to the secondary side coil 2A when a vehicle is positioned in a monitoring area of the detection coil, and outputting a vehicle detection signal. While coil axes a and b of the primary side coil 1A and the secondary side coil 2A are generally orthogonal to each other, for example, a coil center portion corresponding to a center tap of the secondary side coil 2A is shifted by a predetermined distance L3 in regard to the coil axis a of the primary side coil 1A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
