<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidding system which enables a participant to accurately recognize the start time of bidding in which the participant desires to participate. <P>SOLUTION: A bidding system calculates a scheduled bidding start time estimated for every scheduled bidding, and presents the calculation result to a participant by a display screen provided with a display area 81 including a bidding development display screen showing bidding developments. The bidding development display screen is provided with, for each of lanes, a bidding in action, respective exhibition numbers 815 of a plurality of objects for bidding to be conducted following the bidding in action, and the difference between the actual bidding start time and the calculated scheduled bidding start time for the lane. Downstream the difference in the vertical direction of a screen 80 as the temporal axis, an icon 812 indicating a bidding designated by the participant is provided at a position which indicates a scheduled bidding start time corresponding to the bidding.
