<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider with proper conductivity, which brings about high wear suppression effects of both the slider and a sliding opposite material. <P>SOLUTION: A slider comprises a laminate structure in which copper layers and steel layers are alternately stacked and each metallically joined. In a sliding surface, a sliding direction of a sliding opposite material is the direction of alternately crossing each of the layers; the number of the steel layers is three or more; the sliding-direction average thickness of the copper layer is in the range of 0.01-0.20 mm; and the ratio R of the copper layers to the steel layers is in the range of 0.04-0.75. In the oil-containing slider, a cavity, which is elongated inward along a layer interface in the steel layer or the copper layer from the sliding surface, is provided and impregnated with a lubricant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
