OPTICAL MODULATOR DRIVE CIRCUIT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for an optical modulator using a distributed amplifier which shortens the rise time and fall time of an optical output from the optical modulator.

SOLUTION: An optical modulator drive circuit includes a plurality of first non-inverting amplifiers and an inverting amplifier. The first non-inverting amplifiers are disposed between an input end and an output end. The first non-inverting amplifiers each receive an input signal from the input end with a specific delay time and give an output signal with a first delay time at the output end. The inverting amplifier is disposed between the input end and the output end. The inverting amplifier receives the input signal and gives an output signal with a second delay time at the output end longer than the first delay time.
