<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal, a data transmission system and a data transmission method that can intuitively move data. <P>SOLUTION: A selection section 103a selects data displayed in a touch panel 101a to be a movement source touch panel based on an instruction of a user, and a short-distance radio communication section 107a transmits the selected data to a portable terminal 100b to be a communication partner.
