<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device in which the number of sealing components for preventing toner leakage is decreased and a sealing member can be disposed without a gap when a pressing member is disposed on a face opposing to a chassis. <P>SOLUTION: A layer thickness regulating blade 100 includes a pressing member 120 and a sealing member 130 on a face of a free end thereof opposing to a chassis 200, the pressing member protruding toward a developing roller 53 and slide contacting on the developing roller 53. The pressing member 120 has a notched portion 121 at both ends in an axial direction of the developing roller 53, the notched portion which is cut at an upstream end along a rotation direction of the developing roller 53 and has a bottom 123 in the most downstream side along the rotation direction, at the same position as a contact portion N to be in contact with the developing roller 53. The sealing member 130 is disposed between the layer thickness regulating blade 100 and the chassis 200, extending along the axial direction at a base end thereof, also extending to the notched portion 121 at both ends in the axial direction and in contact with at least a part of the notched portion 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
