<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses skewing of a paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus controls a conveying mechanism as follows. When the paper sheet width of a paper sheet 3 to be conveyed is an A4 size, the sheet 3 is conveyed to an image forming unit 5 by registration rollers 14A and 14B while a conveying force to be transferred to the sheet by a multipurpose side supplying roller 15 is shut off after the skewing of the sheet 3 is corrected by the registration rollers 14A and 14B. When the paper sheet width of the paper sheet 3 to be conveyed is a postcard size, the sheet 3 is conveyed to the image forming unit 5 by the multipurpose side supplying roller 15 and the registration rollers 14A and 14B while the conveying force is transferred to the sheet 3 by the multipurpose side supply roller 15 even after the skewing of the sheet 3 is corrected by the registration rollers 14A and 14B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
