<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester monofilament that has a fine fineness, is excellent in dimensional stability, hardly causes scum in a weaving process, and has uniform physical properties in a direction of the fiber cross section and in the longitudinal direction of the fiber and is capable of obtaining a screen gauze having uniform openings. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a core-sheath conjugate type polyester monofilament in which a standard deviation of the fiber surface orientation (Δn) measured at five arbitrary points in one million meters of the fiber in the longitudinal direction is 2.0 or less and a standard deviation of the degree of crystallinity of the fiber surface is 3.0 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
