[Problem] To provide a label-producing method that can reliably cut the adhesive, and labels. [Solution] A label-producing method comprising: an adhesive-coating process (S1) of coating an adhesive on a backing sheet and forming an adhesive layer; a curing process (S2) of coating an acrylate adhesive on portions of the adhesive layer and curing the adhesive layer to form cured areas; and a cutting process (S3) of cutting the cured areas. Labels, in which an adhesive layer (12) is laminated on a backing sheet (13) and portions of the adhesive layer (12) are cured to form cured areas (14), the labels being characterized in that the cured areas (14) are cured by an acrylate adhesive.
