<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic signal processor capable of remaining sound volume without performing complete muting when muting is performed. <P>SOLUTION: When a mute group 1 is chosen by a choosing button 3a, channels (chs) belonging to the mute group 1 are highlight-displayed in a channel display field 3. When the SEL switch of the ch is pressed, the ch is assigned to the mute group 1. When a muting button 4b is operated, an operated mute group is turned-on for muting.
