<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of bringing, in a situation where request packets are repetitively received from multiple devices respectively, request packet reception timings close to each other among the multiple devices. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunction peripheral 10 receives a status request packet from a PC 100 and receives a status request packet from a PC 200. The multifunction peripheral 10 transmits a response packet with respect to the status request packet from the PC 100 to the PC 100 and transmits a response packet with respect to the status request packet from the PC 200 to the PC 200. The multifunction peripheral 10 determines a transmission timing to the PC 200 so that time from the reception of the status request packet from the PC 200 to the transmission of the response packet to the PC 200 is longer than time from the reception of the status request packet from the PC 100 to the transmission of the response packet to the PC 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
