<p>The valve assembly, to set and monitor the hydraulic or pneumatic pressure at a machine tool workpiece clamp (9), has at least one pressure regulating valve (1A) to set the pressure, as a proportional pressure reduction valve. At least one pressure sensor (6A,6B) registers the clamping pressure for comparison with a nominal value. The regulating valve has a self-locking action through the self-locking gearing of the setting motor (M). The sensors are linked to an electronic control unit (12).</p> |
