The industrial truck (1,2) has multiple display devices (3,15,16,18,21) for displaying of vehicle conditions or operating conditions. The assignment of the displayed vehicle conditions or operating conditions is set by a driver to respective display devices. The display devices are freely positioned by detachable fixing devices in area of a driver workplace (10) and are implemented by an operating person without tool. The assignment of displayed vehicle conditions or operating conditions is carried out by identification of driver, particularly identification code, or by transponder. An independent claim is included for a method for displaying vehicle condition or operating condition of industrial truck.
