<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and high-response solid-state light source device (LED, or the like), in which unwanted electromagnetic wave radiation (EMC) is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The LED 100 comprises an LED chip 104, and an LED package 101 for packaging the LED chip 104, wherein a driver circuit 110 for driving the LED chip 104 is incorporated in the LED package 101.
