Industrial truck with a driver's cab

The truck (10) has a drive unit (12) that is coupled to a driver's cab (26) with a driver's seat (20). A battery compartment (56) is sealed with a battery cover below the driver?s seat. The driver's cab is comprised with a fixed front portion (28) and a displaceable rear portion (30). The drive unit is provided with a guide (50) for the displaceable rear portion so as to release the battery covering in retracted position of the rear portion of the driver's cab for battery change.
