<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a causal gene for very mild group A xeroderma pigmentosum. <P>SOLUTION: The causal gene for very mild group A xeroderma pigmentosum comprises a base sequence in which the fourth exon has a specific sequence.
