PURPOSE: A block pier is provided to easily implement various specifications such as size, height, and supporting load of a pier by assembling miniaturized and standardized blocks. CONSTITUTION: A block pier comprises a plurality of column blocks(70), which are tightly connected to each other to form a single stage. A plurality of stages are laminated to form pier columns. The column blocks, having an arc-shaped or square flat cross section, are coupled with height differences. Each column block is formed with a shear key(70a,70c) and a shear key groove(70d) at the top and bottom thereof, respectively. The column blocks are connected in the transverse direction as the shear keys of the column blocks are inserted into the shear key grooves of the adjacent column blocks. |
