Disclosed is a method for analysing the presence and/or size distribution of nucleic acids in a sample, said method comprising steps of: i) injecting the sample in 25-35% of the length of the capillary to the detector by hydrodynamic injection, ii) separating the nucleic acids by capillary gel electrophoresis; and iii) detecting nucleic acids.
