PROCESS FOR PREPARING EPISULFIDE COMPOUNDS

A process for preparing episulfide compounds which includes a step of reacting an epoxy compound (B) with a thia-forming agent (C) (an agent capable of reacting with an epoxy compound to form an episulfide) in the presence of a polyhydoxyl compound (A) having two or more hydroxyl groups to convert the epoxy group of the epoxy compound (B) into an episulfide group.
