The present invention discloses a receiver, a data receiving method, a channel estimation device for multi-user interference (MUI) signals, and a channel estimation method for MUI signals. The channel estimation device for MUI signals is provided with: a user type determination means for determining whether a UE corresponding to a local station belongs to a first type of user or belongs to a second type of user, and for determining the demodulation information to be used when estimating a channel for an MUI signal, on the basis of the type of UE corresponding to the local station; and a second channel estimation means for estimating a channel for an MUI signal on the basis of the demodulation information to be used when estimating the channel for the determined MUI signal. By dividing UEs into types, and determining the demodulation information to be used when estimating a channel for an MUI signal on the basis of the UE type, the present invention improves the accuracy of channel estimation, and, furthermore, improves data reception performance, and improves the throughput of UEs and cells.
