<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce drag when a multi-plate frictionally engaging device is not engaged. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-plate frictionally engaging device is configured as a multi-plate clutch or multi-plate brake in which a plurality of frictional plate 70 and plurality of separator 72 are arranged alternately along an axial direction. A core plate 70a of the frictional plate 70 is formed in the shape of corrugated plate so that crest and valley section may be continuously formed radially from axial center. A frictional material 71a of low frictional coefficient is stuck in the crest, and frictional material 71b of high frictional coefficient is stuck in the valley section, respectively, along circumferential direction with respect to the core plate 70a. Drag during disengagement can be reduced compared with a case where the frictional material of high frictional coefficient is stuck in the crest of the core plate and the frictional material of low frictional coefficient is stuck in the valley section thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
