<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square rod coat removing method and a device, capable of peeling an insulating coat layer at a conduction part of a square rod and performing a deformation process with the conduction part at the same time, for improved production efficiency when joining the conduction parts of the square rod together. <P>SOLUTION: At removing of an insulating coat layer 82, under such condition as a gap S is formed between a first side surface 801 of a conduction part 84 and an upper surface 211 of a load receiving part 21, a square rod 8 is pressed against a dice 2 by a pusher 3. Then, a punch 4 is caused to approach the dice 2, and at the conduction part 84 of the square rod 8, the insulating coat layer 82 of a pair of second side surfaces 802 which are parallel to each other, being orthogonal to the first side surface 801, are removed. Here, the conduction part 84 is deformed by the amount of the gap S so that the first die surface 801 of the conduction part 84 is pressed against the upper surface 211 of the load receiving part 21 by the punch 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
