<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation diagnosis device capable of eliminating noise by using only a single signal waveform. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave signal radiated by partial discharge is detected, the detected electromagnetic wave signal is sampled, noise for one sampling step is calculated by taking a square time integral of a section from n1 to n2 where the signal strength of the electromagnetic wave signal a(t) obtained by sampling is a noise level and dividing the square time integral by (n2-n1), and a partial discharge signal obtained by eliminating noise is obtained by subtracting noise from the square time integral of the electromagnetic wave signal a(t). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
