ROUGHNESS STANDARD FOR CALIBRATION OF CONTACT (PROBE) DEVICES FOR MEASUREMENT OF SURFACE ROUGHNESS OF A PART

摘要

A roughness standard for calibration of contact (probe) devices for measurement of surface roughness of workpiece as a rectangular parallelepiped on one surface of which chatter marks are applied with defined values of roughness by Ra parameter. The chatter marks are provided over the whole surface; the values of roughness by Ra parameter belong to interval in which the values of roughness by Ra parameter of the workpiece surface; hardness coincides with the hardness of the surface of the controlled workpiece.
