LENS SHEET AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a both-side lens sheet free from no coincidence in axes and having superior optical characteristics as well as to accurately transfer the lenticular lens pattern of each lens die and to form lens layers uniform in thickness. CONSTITUTION:An active energy beam-curable resin layer is half-fixed on one side of a sheetlike transparent substrate 1 and a heat-curable resin layer is half-fixed on the other side to obtain a sheet for forming. The heat-curable resin layer is deformed along the lens pattern of a lens die by bringing it into contact with the die and the deformed layer is heated to form a 1st lens layer 2. The active energy beam-curable resin layer is then deformed along the lens pattern of a lens die by bringing it into contact with the die and the deformed layer is irradiated with active energy beams to form a 2nd lens layer 3. The objective lens sheet consisting of the sheetlike transparent substrate 1, the 1st lens layer 2 and the 2nd lens layer 3 is produced.
