METHOD FOR PRODUCING SHEET FOR CONTAINER MADE OF HEAT INSULATING PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sheet for a container made of heat insulating paper excelling in heat insulating property and obtaining sufficient foaming property (a foaming amount and the thickness of a foamed layer) without increasing the basis weight of paper.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the sheet for the container made of heat insulating paper having a foamed thermoplastic resin layer laminated on at least one surface of a paper base material is characterized in that the paper base material is subjected to surface treatment by a 2-roller size press coater or a gate roll coater, thereby obtaining the sheet for the container made of heat insulating paper excelling in heat insulating property and obtaining sufficient foaming property (the foaming amount and the thickness of the foamed layer).
