<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel hologram label using a hologram in which, in order to enhance authenticity, hologram reproduction of a wavelength different from illumination light is performed, which is different from a hologram reproducing a hologram reproduction image of a wavelength equal to illumination light. <P>SOLUTION: A photochromic thin film layer is provided on a hologram formation layer. The photochromic thin film layer is illuminated with excitation light. A hologram reproduction image by color tone of light emission thereof in a visible light region is made detectable by visual inspection.
