The bed bottom frame (6) is raisable and lowerable by pivoting the link arm devices (10,12) by means of a drive connected between the bottom frame and the link arm devices. Each of the link arm devices comprises a shaft (34,38) rotatably connected to the respective end of the bed bottom frame and two link arms (32,36) firmly connected to it and rotatably joined to each side of the frame. The drive is connected between the bed bottom frame and the link arm devices shafts which it rotates to produce the required pivoting of the arms for raising and lowering the bed bottom frame. |
