<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst composite material having catalytic activity not only against ultraviolet light high in energy and included in sunlight and indoor illumination but also against light in a visible light region low in energy and large in wavelength relative to the ultraviolet light, and capable of efficiently utilizing sunlight. <P>SOLUTION: This photocatalyst composite material is a composite material of at least one kind of semiconductor material 3 selected from a group consisting of silicon, germanium, silicide and germacide, and a metal material 2 such as gold, wherein the metal material 2 is dispersed at least at a part of the front surface and the inside of the semiconductor material 3 in a particle-like or plate-like form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
