The arrangement has individual peeling units comprising knives arranged at pivotal arms. Drivable transport roller units cooperate with the individual peeling units. Peeling machines (1-4) as modules are arranged in a frame (5), where a number of the peeling machines are varied parallel to each other. A common feed conveyer (6) feeds the individual peeling machines with vegetables. The frame has retaining strips for retaining the peeling machines. The frame has an upper framework in which longitudinal carriers are arranged.
